Publisher and Subject Collections Grow with Over 400 Titles

Workshops Energise Attendees, Inspire Collaboration
June 6, 2012 – Oxford – Credo Reference will be meeting and collaborating with librarians throughout the UK, through a unique series of workshops as well as participation in the CILIPS and CILIP ARLG conferences.
Literati by Credo is different from most of the resources reviewed in this column. It is not a database of publisher content but rather a suite of services extending beyond a library’s computer screen related to information discovery, information literacy (including assessment), and library marketing.
Library Journal spoke to Credo Reference interns Shiva Darbandi and Laura Warren, who outlined what they’ve worked on and how information literacy (IL) instruction is changing.
Inaugural Award Presented at 2012 LILAC Conference
May 10, 2012 – Boston and Oxford – Credo Reference (www.credoreference.com) is pleased to announce that the Skills@Library team from the University of Leeds are the winners of the first Credo Reference Digital Award for Information Literacy for their project “Skills@Library lecturer pages” (http://library.leeds.ac.uk/skills-lecturers). The award was presented in April at the 2012 LILAC Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
