Credo Reference and Mosio Announce New Partnership

Popular “Text a Librarian” service including live chat and email now available within Literati by Credo

June 19, 2012 – Boston, Oxford – Credo Reference and Mosio, Inc. have teamed up to make sure that a helpful librarian is just one click away from any student or patron who needs one.

Literati, Credo’s recent offering to librarians, has been hailed in the trade press and celebrated by its subscribers as a problem-solving solution rich with Information Literacy tools and services. Mosio, who coined the phrase “texting is the new talking,” provides their popular two-way text messaging service to hundreds of libraries nationwide. Now, they have integrated chat, email and website support tabs, offering libraries a full suite of communication technologies to stay in touch with patrons wherever they are. The combination of these technologies adds to the strength of the Literati by Credo service by embedding live support for patrons.
