Credo Webinar: How to Build Effective Student Research Skills in the 21st Century

Libraries and classrooms bridging the gap to best prepare students for college level research is the focus of Credo's latest webinar.

Credo, the industry leader for information literacy, critical thinking, and research solutions, will host, "How to Build Effective Student Research Skills in the 21st Century" on Tuesday, May 10, at 3:00pm EDT. The panel features Amy Voorhees, Library Director at Kent School in Connecticut, Rachel Bielby, Librarian at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Illinois, and Credo’s K-12 Channel Manager, Lara Kraft, who will moderate.

Students are being challenged every day in their journey to become 21st Century learners, and educators are tasked with leading the way. More than ever there is a need for collaboration between the library and the classroom to arm students with the information skills required for lifelong success.

Attendees will learn strategies to help them collaborate effectively with teachers on instruction, develop (pre)research with foundational background information, enable students to explore related concepts and build subject vocabularies, and boost embedded subject-specific bibliographic instruction.
