Welcome to the Credo Reference web site. This site is owned and operated by Credo Reference, and these policies are designed to tell you about our practices regarding collection, use, and disclosure of information that you may provide via this site as well as your own responsibilities.

Spam-Free Experience

We have zero tolerance for spam. It's toxic. It corrupts the sender, invades the privacy of the recipient and clogs the Internet with waste. Therefore we only collect and hold your email address in order to send you the newsletters you have requested. You can unsubscribe at any time for any reason (or no reason at all). And you will never hear from us again.

Credo Reference does not buy, rent or sell email lists, nor will we "share" your name with partners. However, unless you ask us not to, we will send you emails in the future to share with you new products, services or changes to this policy.

And by the way, there are only 2 reasons we should have anyone's email address: one, they subscribed to one of our newsletters or the weekly brainteaser, or two, someone else subscribed them. While we do recommend subscribers sharing issues with friends, we do not encourage anyone to subscribe someone without their permission. If you feel you've been a victim of this circumstance, we apologize profusely.

Unsubscribing

We hate sites that make it nearly impossible to unsubscribe from. That's why we've made it so easy a 5 year old could do it. Just look for the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any one of our emails.

Changes to Policy

On occasion we will update this SPAM policy. When we do, it's our practice not to inform our subscribers or clients—unless the policy changes affect how we use their personal information. Most of the time our SPAM policy changes are nothing more than a simple update to satisfy local or national laws—the sort of things we thought you'd prefer not to be bothered with.
