Credo Reference Partners with Minitex Print E-mail

Credo Reference, provider of customizable online reference collections, is pleased to announce that they are partnering with Minitex Library Information Network to provide its services to libraries in the three state region of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. With the new agreement, member institutions have the option of subscribing at a discount to their selection of 100 or 250 or all of Credo’s titles.

Minitex is a publicly supported network of academic, public, government and special libraries that work together to provide members access to resources. It promotes partnerships and effective delivery of information, including collections, electronic products, bibliographic records, and reference services in many formats. With this new agreement, patrons at participating libraries can access Credo’s vast collection of cross-searchable entries, all on one innovative and enhanced interface that even provides seamless searching from Credo into other library resources.

North Hennepin Community College, in Brooklyn Park, MN, recently took advantage of the Minitex discount. “We were delighted to offer Credo’s innovative reference collection to our students right away,” commented Craig Larson, Librarian. “In addition, Credo’s customizable Resource Links offer our users seamless access to additional library resources such as journal databases or our online catalog. Our users are already enjoying accessing the vast information provided.”
