Trial users may access this online service for a limited period of time for the purposes of determining its suitability for purchase. During the trial period, the trial user will be subject to the same terms and conditions as a paying subscriber. Any breach of this license will result in the immediate termination of access by Credo Reference.
PERMITTED USE Credo Reference grants the licensee the non-exclusive and non-transferable rights to:
- Access Credo Reference through this web site in order to search Credo and to view, retrieve, and display entries included in the service;
- Electronically bookmark, download and save individual entries included in Credo Reference; and
- Print out single copies of individual entries of Credo Reference for purposes of private study or research.
LIMITATIONS ON USE The licensee may not:
- Use the material contained within for commercial purposes.
- Remove or alter the authors' names or Credo Reference's or third-party copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in Credo Reference;

The licensee must obtain the written permission of Credo Reference in order to:

- Intentionally distribute the whole or any part of Credo Reference;
- Publish, distribute, or make available works based upon Credo Reference, or works which combine Credo Reference with any other material; or
- Alter, abridge, adapt, or modify Credo Reference.
Nothing in this Agreement shall limit the licensee's rights to make fair use of Credo Reference, as that term is defined by the courts.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS The Licensee acknowledges that all copyrights, patent rights, trademarks, services marks, trade secrets and other intellectual property rights relating to Credo Reference (collectively the "Credo Reference Intellectual Property"), are the sole and exclusive property of Credo Reference and the third-party publishers who have licensed their works to Credo Reference, and that this does not convey to the Licensee any right, title, or interest therein except for the right to use Credo Reference in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
WARRANTY THIS SERVICE IS BEING PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR IMPLIED TERM OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR IMPLIED TERMS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALL SUCH IMPLIED TERMS AND WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED.
